ARINC 818 Recorder
ARINC 818 Digital Video Recorder powered by Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+ MPSoC device, is a multi-channel record/playback system that accepts any form of ARINC 818 video input with different resolution & refresh rates. The received ARINC 818 video stream is encoded with the assist of an on-chip H.264/H.265 video codec engine which is capable of performing simultaneous compression and decompression of video streams. Finally, the encoded video is stored in SSD hard drive.

ARINC 818 Switch IP Core
ARINC 818-2 is a point-to-point, serial protocol, high bandwidth, low latency protocol for the transmission of uncompressed video, audio, and data during blanking period, widely used in AVIONICS application. Since a vast portion of the newer applications of the ARINC 818-2 have several displays with many channels of ARINC 818-2, switching has turned out to be more imperative. ARINC 818-2 switch can support up to 12 channels. Multiple switching modes such as broadcast, unicast, multicast, and mixed are also supported.

This FMC+ Module is supported by two stacked QSFP28/QSFP+ ports(Upto400G) with 4-Bit Silicon Labs programmable clock synthesizer (default = 156.25Mhz). A flexible reference clock for on the QSFP28/QSFP+ 2×1 Stacked FMC+ Module is fully programmable over the 0.16 to 710 MHz range through I2C. Each QSFP28/QSFP+ ports are directly connected to four multi-gigabit serial transceivers banks of Vita 57.4 compliant carrier Board.
