Multiplexer Module
The 40/42-860A-212-M-HI is a PXI/PXIe single insert/bypass switch with SC connectors, includes hardware interlock and is part of Pickering's range of PXI Fiber Optic MEMS Switching modules. They are available in many high density formats with a choice of different connector styles to suit most applications: FC/APC (for optimal performance), FC/PC and SC/PC for general applications and LC and MU for high density applications. They are also available with an optional hardware interlock which, when activated, will return all optical switches to their default unpowered state.

All modules are based on high quality ruthenium reed relays that switch up to 150V, 1.2 Amp with 20W max power or high quality electro-mechanical relays (EMR) that switch up to 300V, 2 Amp with 60W max power.

Multiplexer Module
The 40-785C-442-E (PXI) and 42-785C-442-E (PXIe) are dual SP4T 40GHz unterminated microwave multiplexers with remotely mounted relays. The 40/42-785C range of multiplexers are available as single or dual, SP6T or SP4T panel mounted multiplexers with relays mounted on the front panel. The single slot version can support up to three supplied remotely mounted multiplexers.

Matrix Switch Module
The 60-510 is a high density 1-pole matrix module controlled via LXI. It has excellent thermal stability and substantially reduced thermal EMF figures when compared to a conventional switching matrix. Typical applications include signal routing in ATE, selecting thermocouple inputs, switching amplifier gain circuits and high accuracy DC micro-volt measurements. Ruthenium reed switches are used because of their good low level switching capability. They also have a very long life with excellent contact resistance stability, minimal wetting current and low thermal offset.
