Sometimes your sensors or the piece of equipment you are trying to control is not in a convenient place to have a PC close by. The sensors may be widely distributed through out your plant and it just wouldn’t be cost effective to run all your wiring to where the PC is. In addition, low level signals are more accurately acquired when digitized close to the signal source. In all these cases our REMOTE ACCES line of products will help. The REMOTE ACCES pods are intelligent, sensor to computer interfaces. Each pod can be used as an autonomous data logger to acquire data for later download. Or as many as 31 pods may be connected on a single two wire multidrop RS-485 network allowing a cable distance of up to 4000 ft. You can also go wireless and extend your range by adding RS-485 wireless transceivers to your serial port. Phosphoric acid and the oxidant (persulfate) are added to the sample, which is heated under UV illumination to convert the TC in the sample to carbon dioxide. This carbon dioxide flows with the carrier gas via the dehumidifier into the NDIR sample cell. The area of the carbon dioxide peak signal is measured and this peak area is converted to TC concentration using a pre-prepared calibration curve.

The SC5510A and SC5511A are VCO-based, synthesized signal sources with very low phase noise and an amplitude control of 0.01 dB throughout its -30 dBm to +15 dBm output power range. By utilizing a unique multiple phase-locked loop architecture, phase spurs are kept below -70 dBc across the entire tuning range, even at 1 Hz step resolution. These 20 GHz signal sources include an additional, independent RF2 channel with a tunable frequency range from 100 MHz to 3 GHz and a tuning resolution of 25 MHz. The micro probes are used to measure magnetic fields and they have a high resolution. They measure magnetic fields up to 6 GHz, e.g. at signal conductors (150µm), SMD components (0603-0201) or IC pins. The MFA micro probes are guided by hand. An amplifier stage is integrated into the probe head. The amplifier stage (9V, 100mA) is powered via the Bias tee BT 706. It has an impedance of 50 Ohm. The micro probes are connected via the Bias tee BT 706 to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope. Langer EMV-Technik GmbH includes correction lines in the delivery. With the help of the correction lines the probe output voltage is converted either into the respective magnetic field or to the current which is running through the conductor.
