It is ideal for 75Ω monitoring applications that require a multiplexer to select one channel to be routed to measuring equipment. The automatic connection of unused channels into 75Ω terminations helps maintain signal integrity and minimizes the possibility of introducing unwanted responses. The common connection is also automatically terminated into 75 Ohm when unused. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.
