Isolated LVDS (low voltage differential signaling) devices couple differential signals applied to the LVDS receiver inputs across the isolation barrier to the outputs on the other side and re-transmits the bit stream or clock as LVDS. Analog Devices' drop-in LVDS isolators offer designers robust, high speed differential signaling for point-to-point and multidrop applications. Extending iCoupler® chip scale transformer technology for ultrahigh speed data encoding, these LVDS isolators support a a data rate of up to 2.5 Gigabits per channel for a total bandwidth of 10 Gbps. The SparkFun Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor is an I2C based biometric sensor, utilizing two chips from Maxim Integrated: the MAX32664 Biometric Sensor Hub and the MAX30101 Pulse Oximetry and Heart Rate Module. While the latter does all the sensing, the former is an incredibly small and fast Cortex M4 processor that handles all of the algorithmic calculations, digital filtering, pressure/position compensation, advanced R-wave detection, and automatic gain control. We've provided a Qwiic connector to easily connect to the I2C data lines but you will also need to connect to two additional lines. This board is very small, measuring at 1in x 0.5in (25.4mm x 12.7mm), which means it will fit nicely on your finger without all the bulk.

The SAMPULSE20x2 is a demonstration board for the Furaxa SiGe3 30GHz sampler/pulser IC. The SIGe3 IC is a dual channel sampler pulser chip, and the SAMPULSE20x2 demonstration board contains two 2.4mm combined TDR input/output connectors, one to each sampler/pulser channel in the IC. The SiGe3 IC's two sampler outputs are then sent to to two SMA jacks, the first outputting the sample taken on the rising edge of the sampler clock, and the second containing the sample taken on the falling edge of the sampler clock. The sampler clock input, which must be a square wave, may be set to any frequency from 5MHz to 1GHz, causing the board take two pairs of samples (one on each clock edge) at rates from 5 million to 1 billion per second. A pulser clock input, which may be set to any frequency from 5MHz to 2GHz, and MUST be a square wave (preferably differential) with rise time under 100pS, causes the board to produce concurrent pulses on both of the SiGe3's I/O pins, which produce near-concurrent pulses at the two 2.4mm sampler/pulser TDR input/output connectors.

CAN (Controller Area Network) communication has become ubiquitous in industry. It is used in automotive applications (part of OBD and many other datalinks), on-highway trucks (J1939), industrial machinery and instrumentation, and equipment applications (factory automation). This shield is designed to provide a CAN 2.0 front-end interface for 5V Arduino modules (Uno, Mega, etc). The module uses SPI to communicate to the Arduino, and requires an aditional chip select pin. An optional interrupt line to the MCP2515 and two LEDS are also provided. The chip select and interupt lines are selected via zero ohm resistors and have several configuration options for flexibility stacking additional shields. A set of stackable headers is included with this board, not installed. An optional on-board voltage regulator may be used to supply 7.5V to the Arduino's 'Vin' pin (which is regulated to 5V by the Arduino's on-board LDO). The CAN shield regulator supports a wide input range of 9V to 32V. This makes it possible to cleanly build a stand-alone CAN node (remote sensor) without the need for a separate Arduino power supply!
