The 725S family is a digitizer capable of recording waveforms along with performing advanced algorithms for online digital pulse processing (DPP). Dual Digital Multichannel Analyzer
780 MCA Family
The 780 MCA family integrates advanced firmware algorithms operating Digital Pulse Processing for Pulse Height Analysis (PHA). The processing algorithms can be easily adapted to different detectors and application ensuring effective data analysis even at high count rates. It provides advanced tools for configuring baseline restoration, pile-up rejection. Thanks to the two input simultaneous acquisition, the modules are able to manage coincidence and anti-coincidence logic between detectors, allowing the user, for example, to easily take advantage of background rejection or anti-Compton techniques. These MCAs may provide at the same time energy, time stamp and the digitized pulse in a configurable time window (e.g. including the rising edge region) in order to perform further online analysis. Acquisition settings and basic mathematical analysis are performed through the CoMPASS and MC2Analyzer software, providing energy spectra with up to 16k channels, which can be exported and imported in ASCII or N42.42 compliant files. CAEN further provides drivers for the supported communication interfaces; configuration software tools, C and LabVIEW libraries (CAENComm, CAENDigitzer, CAENDPP), demo applications and utilities.

The M9203A is a dual-slot 3U PXIe 12-bit wideband digital receiver running at 3.2 GS/s, up to 2 GHz instantaneous analog bandwidth and providing a large 4 GB DDR3 acquisition memory. The M9203A features a large XilinxFPGA that can implement different functionalities depending on the selected firmware option. Dedicated functions can also be implemented on board, allowing support of various applications. Model RAD242 is an intelligent, two-differential-channel, 24-bit analog-input interface unit that includes a Delta-Sigma A/D converter. The converter has a digital output filter with adjustable notch frequency from 10 Hz to 2000 Hz. The pod also has 13 bits of digital input/output. A precision 10 VDC voltage that can be used for transducer excitation is available at connector pin 5. As much as 60 mA current can be provided. It is packaged in a NEMA 4 enclosure for remote installation in harsh environments. RAD242 also provides a user-definable interrupt input and counter/timer input. An optional RAD Firmware Development Kit is available if you wish to use those user-programmable input lines or to develop a custom program.
