These devices provide two synchronized DDS-based RF channels on a single PCI card. With fine frequency, amplitude and phase control the Synth1000 products enable a number of advanced applications at a fraction of the cost of conventional equipment. In addition to two analog outputs the Synth1000, up to 4 separate profiles may be dynamically selected using externally supplied TTL signals for low-latency triggered operation such as PSK, FSK, and triggered sweep operation. Analog Devices current mirrors are precision, high dynamic range, wide variable supply parts used for optical power monitoring, voltage biasing with current monitoring, and voltage-to-current conversion. Our current mirrors can monitor current down to as little as 3 nA and as much as 3 mA, with a linearity of 1% or better. The current dynamic range is 120 dB or 6 decades of current range, while the overcurrent protection feature in our devices forces the input pin to ground to avoid part damage. Over temperature (–40°C to +85°C) and process, the dynamic range only suffers 10 dB at the lower end of the range.

The EM-6851 Omni-Directional Wideband Antenna is capable of operating as either a transmitting or receiving antenna over the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range. This antenna provides a 45% size reduction when compared to similarly performing models. The antenna is enclosed in a weather resistant radome. The length of the support rod allows a microwave amplifier to be connected directly to the output connector, reducing the potential signal loss compared to an amplifier connected at a more distant point.

The device is a bidirectional, low- or high-side current-shunt monitor that allows an external reference to be used to measure current flowing in both directions through the internal current-sensing resistor sensor. The integration of the precision current-sensing resistor provides calibration equivalent measurement accuracy with ultra-low temperature drift performance and ensures an optimized Kelvin layout for the sensing resistor is always obtained.
