MACOM offers high-performance linear equalizers for use in high speed copper connections for Ethernet, InfiniBand and Fibre Channel. The product line supports NRZ and PAM-4 multi-level signal connectivity and builds upon MACOM’s long-standing expertise in equalizers for broadcast video applications. The equalizers can support up to 112Gbps per lane data rates for 50 Gbps to 800 Gbps copper cable assemblies. In addition to copper cables, the linear equalizer can be used for wired backplane and on-board applications. Adding linear equalization to a passive copper cable can enable the same copper cable to carry higher data rates for longer distances. MACOM’s new linear equalizer product line can extend a typical copper cable’s performance to 7.5 meters at 56 Gbps and 5 meters at 112 Gbps data rates. Customers can consider active copper cables as an alternative to passive copper cables or active optical cables. Key benefits include low power consumption from a single 3.3V supply, low latency, hardware and microcontroller management modes. The products are suitable for SFP, QSFP, QSFP-DD and OSFP connector form factors.

Kepco's MSK linear power supplies provide a selection of five models, offering 100 Watts of stable benchtop power. They use a high gain linear (series pass) stabilizer circuit for ultra low noise and low ripple output, good stability, and accurate resettability, and they are MIL-STD-461 compliant.MSK's "Preview" switch (d-c on-off) allows voltage and current to be pre-set with the digital meters displaying the set values. At "d-c off," no voltage is applied to the output terminals and no load current needs to be drawn to set the current limit. At "d-c on," the set voltage is applied to the output terminals, the appropriate mode indicator illuminates and the meters indicate actual voltage and current.

This magnetic preload results in extremely uniform and smooth motion with minimum friction. Load a jig drawer in the jig assembly unit with 10 DUT's. Close the drawer to start testing and begin loading the next of the 5 drawers. When the machine has finished running up to 4 test sequences that you've programmed in, the drawer opens. On the front, a green light tells you the motor is good, a red light tells you there was a short and if there is no light you know there was an open circuit.
