These true speed indicators are differential pressure indicators that measure the difference between static and total pressure produced by ram air from the pitot. The indicated airspeed can be corrected for changes in altitude by turning the knob to align the outside air temperature with the altitude. The moveable airspeed scale will then show the actual, or true, airspeed.

The PS-425 Pitot-Static tester is a low-maintenance, digital tester that is fully portable. The PS-425 is powered by an internal rechargeable 12 volt battery (included in purchase), which enables the test set to be used completely independent of any external power source. A connector is provided for an external 12 volt DC power adapter (included). The PS-425 incorporates the altitude, VSI, and airspeed in one single display. The PS-425 is designed and priced for non-RVSM markets, and includes two quick-connect hoses, 12 VDC power adapter, calibration certificate, and a limited 2-year warranty. This product is ideal for performing simple go/no-go leak tests, as well as for general use as a low-end pitot-static tester.

The Dual Pitot Tube Flow Meter, PTFM-ONE DT is a standalone interface for measuring exhaust gas flow rate of combustion engines. The system uses the tried-and-tested pitot tube principle with high-frequency transducers, with a sampling rate of 1kHz to accurately measure highly pulsating exhaust flows. This rapid capture rate ensures that any pulsations or exotic behaviour caused by the engine is measured, and the unique design of the PTFM-ONE DT means reverse flows can be calculated, with the same guarantee of sensitivity.

This tester was specifically designed for the new-generation pitot tubes that integrate sensing probes, pressure sensors and powerful air data computer processing to provide all critical air data parameters including Pitot and static pressure, airspeed, altitude, and angle of attack. This Pitot Static tester is designed primarily for flightline use to cover the testing of all barometric and manometric pressure instrument systems. The AoA Channel behaves as a second Ps channel, in order to create a differential pressure between the 2 Ps Channel, allowing to performsimulations of different Angles of Attack. The large touch screen display, with on-screen help, enables all checks to be carried out easily on the flight deck or in the cockpit, by a single operator. The ADSE 744 is robust and housed in amobile weatherproof case. An attached bag contains the pressure hoses and electrical cables.
