The 40-667C-011 is a dual 3-channel 30A MUX and is part of our range of high current multiplexers occupying two slots of PXI chassis. Each multiplexer switch uses a fully isolated solid state relay which has been designed to offer fast operation under hot switching conditions and high inrush current with no operational life degradation. Each multiplexer channel can support 10A of continuous current and switch up to 200V signals. The switches can sustain inrush currents in excess of 50A. AC or DC signals can be switched since the switch is polarity insensitive.

Every vehicle in your fleet can now be tested and validated before and after a repair to ensure proper diagnosis and repairs have been performed. In addition to testing repaired vehicles, the MD-7500-HD can be used to test vehicles on a regular basis as a preventative maintenance measure which decreases unexpected breakdowns and allows fleet management to control fuel costs while reducing repair costs. Each absorber, or brake, can hold up to 600-hp (total power of 1,800-hp) – more than enough to simulate a fully loaded transit bus. As the systems PAU’s (brakes) are air-cooled, no water is required to or from the device – eliminating the high cost of water consumption and/or the cost of an expensive water recovery system – which can sometimes exceed the cost of the dynamometer system itself. Mustang is the only company that offers a Universal Fleet Test Bed without water supply requirements. AC Motors can be added to simulate regeneration and validate range for organizations that have transitioned to carbon free electric propulsion.
