Automated Connector Tester
GCI's Automated Connector Tester is a self-contained test bench providing reliable testing of filtered and non-filtered electrical connectors. The ACT automates the tedious process of testing each pin against all others and shell for DC and AC leakage. For filter connectors, the ACT accurately measures pin-to-shell capacitance. For pins protected by diodes, the ACT provides leakage and breakdown measurements. The ACT also verifies pins which are intentionally shorted to each other or to the shell.

Serial Bus Buffers, Extenders, and Accelerators
The Analog Devices family of I2C solutions support hot swappable, 2-wire bidirectional bus buffers to allow I/O card insertion into a live backplane without corruption of the data and clock busses. Additional supported 2-wire buses include SMBus, PMBus, the ATCA intelligent platform management bus (IPMB), and the HDMI DDC bus. I2C/SMBus Accelerators improve bus transitions to allows multiple device connections or a longer, more capacitive interconnect, without compromising slew rates or bus performance. ADI's software-programmable and pin-selectable I2C multiplexers help resolve I2C address limitations, increase fan-in or fan-out, and integrate bus buffers and rise time accelerators for an all-in-one solution. The 16453A is designed for accurate dielectric constant and loss tangent measurements on the E4991A/4291A/B. It employs the parallel plate method, which sandwiches the material between two electrodes to form a capacitor. The E4991A/4291A/B measures the capacitance created from the fixure, and option 002 firmware calculates the relative complex permittivity as described in the 16451B. Adjustment to insure parallel electrodes is required when using the 16451B. This adjustment is not required with the 16453A because the fixure has a flexible electrode that adjusts automatically to the material surface.
