Jitter and emphasis / equalization capabilities enable simulation of real-world signals and environment. The S96011B covers up to 53 GHz bandwidth. Full calibration is available and the automatic deskew ensures easy removal of fixture and probe effects. To get the best accuracy, use mechanical calibration kits or ECal with DC option (i.e. N469xD or N4433D with Option 0DC).

The CommSync II family of modular systems provide GPS time and frequency outputs to meet your synchronization requirements. All systems include support for multiple input and output modules including 1PPS, IRIG, HAVE QUICK, PTTI, IEEE-1588 PTPv2, low phase noise 1, 5, and 10 MHz sine wave as well as custom outputs.These systems are available with military SAASM MPE-S GB-GRAM, SAASM Force 22E MRU or civilian C/A GPS receivers. Rubidium or OCXO oscillators provide for excellent holdover performance in the event of failure of the reference inputs. In addition, they may be configured as Distribution Time and Frequency (DTF) systems that are synchronized by an external reference. Dual Redundant systems (CommSync II & CommSync II-D) may be configured with two GPS Time & Frequency (GTF) modules and two power supply modules (AC and/or DC power) for redundancy with uninterrupted automatic switchover.

The series includes PCIe cards with either one, two or four synchronous channels. The large onboard memory can be segmented to replay different waveform sequences. The AWG features a PCI Express x8 Gen 2 interface that offers outstanding data streaming performance. The interface and Spectrum’s optimized drivers enable data transfer rates in excess of 2.8 GB/s so that signals can continuously replayed at a high output rate. While the cards have been designed using the latest technology they are still software compatible with the drivers from earlier Spectrum waveform generators. So, existing customers can use the same software they developed for a 10 year old 20 MS/s AWG card and for an M4i series 625 MS/s AWG.
