The #332 is the ideal tool for easy and accurate measurement of RPM in almost any environment. Simply aim the laser beam at a reflective mark placed on a rotating device, push the button and the RPM reading is immediately displayed. No contact with the shaft or wheel is necessary. The laser beam is not affected by shop light and can detect RPM from longer distances of up to 6 feet away. The #332 can measure up to 99,999 RPM in 1 RPM increments. It can be used to measure RPM on coil-on-plug and diesel engines, where conventional inductive tachometers can not be used. Four Channel Clock Driver Card

The PI-41401 is a four channel Clock Driver card capable of operating up to 140 MHz at 3V and 100 MHz at 5V amplitudes into a 50 Ohm load. The PI-41401 has a clock rate of 90 MHz at an amplitude of 5 volts into a 1-MOhm load. Into a high impedance load the output voltage range is from –5 volts to +8 volts with the pulse amplitude ranging from 0V to 9V. When driving a 50 load the voltage range is –2.5 volts to 4.0 volts with the pulse amplitude ranging from effectively 0V to 4.5V. Each channel has a common edgespeed control to vary the rising and falling edges of the output waveform. The adjustable slew rate range, for any amplitude, is the minimum edgespeed of that amplitude times 5. The output pulse amplitude and the load being driven determine the range of variability.

The TLC5940 is a 16 channel PWM unit with 12-bit duty cycle control (0-4095), 6 bit current limit control (0-63), and a daisy chainable serial interface. This breakout board is a good way to take full advantage of this useful IC. All 16 PWM channels are broken out to standard 0.1" headers, which run alongside convenient voltage and ground rails. Also, because the TLC5940 can be daisy-chained, the breakout is designed to support that feature. On the left-hand side of the board all serial inputs are broken out to 0.1" headers and likewise with output on the right-hand side.
