Frequency Multiplier
SMZ
R&S®SMZ frequency multipliers combine easy handling and precise output levels in the frequency range from 50 GHz to 170 GHz. They can be used in diverse applications, e.g. in the automotive sector with distance radars, in astronomy with sophisticated telescopes and in radar interferometry for analyzing the earth’s surface. The frequency multipliers are available in the R&S®SMZ75 (from 50 GHz to 75 GHz), R&S®SMZ90 (from 60 GHz to 90 GHz), R&S®SMZ110 (from 75 GHz to 110 GHz) and R&S®SMZ170 (from 110 GHz to 170 GHz) models. An optional attenuator (available for R&S®SMZ75, R&S®SMZ90 and R&S®SMZ110) can be integrated in the same housing as the frequency multiplier, simplifying handling. The R&S®SMZ can be controlled via USB.

6U VPX FPGA Cards
Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions
FPGAs have revolutionized the way digital signal processing (DSP) subsystems are configured. With a large number of gates, hardware multipliers, and high-speed serial interfaces, FPGAs enable sophisticated applications, including radar, signal intelligence, and image processing, which rely on repetitive processing that can be expressed in highly parallel form. FPGAs perform exceptionally well in FFTs, pulse compression, filters, and digital up/down converters.

Pneumatic Multipliers
CLD
The CLD pneumatic torque multiplier provides precision tightening and loosening of all heavy duty fastening connections. The torque multiplier shuts-off when pre-set torque is achieved. It's a non-impacting and operates at a smooth, continuous rotation, the torque multiplier increases speed and productivity, as it is faster than a hydraulic wrench and is less expensive.

Radar Front Ends (FMCW)
FMCW Series
Farran’s 77 GHz FMCW Radar front end is based on a GaAs MMIC chipset offering wide bandwidth in a small outline package. The transmit signal is derived from an external VCO signal, internally multiplied, which also acts as the LO for the receive mixer. The resulting IF is conditioned for gain and filtering as required. The IF also contains an industry leading IF noise figure, especially in the frequency range below 500MHz. Custom designs available, visit our custom design page for more information.

Smallest Multimetric Nanoparticle Detector
partector 2
Naneos Particle Solutions gmbh
The naneos partector 2 is the world's smallest multimetric nanoparticle detector. The partector 2 uses dual non-contact detection stages to measure not only lung-deposited surface area like the partector 2 Light, but also particle number concentration and average particle diameter. Additionally, ultrafine particle (UFP) surface and ultrafine particle mass concentrations are calculated and displayed. In contrast to some of our competitors, the UFP mass is displayed online, and it is calculated using the measured diameter of the particles, rather than estimated by a simple multiplier for LDSA.
