The ArgoBot Full Kit is a fully assembled robot and controls development platform. It is based on the Digilent chipKIT WF32(TM), a WiFi enabled development platform, and configured for LabVIEW targeting. Most importantly ArgoBot was designed with FIRST Robotics Competition teams in the front of our minds! Named after the FRC Team 1756 mascot, Argos, the ArgoBot development platform includes a fully-assembled, ready to drive mini WiFi enabled robot (about 8" x 5" x 4"), as well as tons of FRC controls tutorials and example code (LabVIEW VIs). Features included on the ArgoBot will look very familiar to anyone who has worked with National Instruments products (Compact RIO and RoboRIO) in the past. This includes three 5V Digital I/O modules (with jumpered pull-ups), three 5V analog inputs, and an I2C header. Example VIs have been streamlined to enable a 1-click configuration style to accelerate your development process. We also added a 2-channel motor driver that is used to supply the ArgoBot drive motors. Our ultimate goal is that everything you can build, control or implement on ArgoBot can be easily leveraged on your FRC bot! Complimenting its many electrical features, ArgoBot is easy to work with and easy to maintain. *The performance data of electric motors, in the majority of all cases, is performed by a brake test. Power input is calculated from current and voltage. Torque and power output are measured with a brake. It is important to reach, for each point, a persistent temperature. In case of large outer rotor BLDC motors, which are usually used for electric scooters, this traditional procedure may take many hours to complete, and is very complicated. *For several years, an innovative motor tester of MEA Testing Systems Ltd. is on the market. This testing system avoids any temperature confusion by testing a motor at constant temperature over the entire speed range. The test procedure is very fast, and gives the full load performances, including PWM current, voltage, torque, and driver efficiency, from stall up to no load. *During the test procedure, the motor is freely accelerated from stall to no load speed. The load of the motor is only the predetermined inertia of the rotor. From the moment of inertia and the acceleration, the torque of the motor is calculated and, also, the power output over the whole speed is given. Since the entire measuring time, depending on the motor size, is usually less than one second, the motor has no time to warm up. It remains at room temperature.

The MIT2500 insulation and continuity tester has been designed for motor and cable testing, specialist applications and electrical testing applications, where operation voltages exceed 1000 V and higher insulation test voltages are needed. The MIT2500 offers both fixed range voltages of 50 V, 100V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V, as well as a variable range that allows any voltage between 50 V and 2500 V to be "dialled in". This is supported by the new test voltage feedback control, which maintains the output test voltage to within 2% of the selected range, even when under test.
