4314AF introduces an added safety feature that prevents the possibility of having the charging adapter connected while using the instrument for measurements. A 6-pin Mil-Spec circular connector on the front panel of the 4314AF replaces the four-terminal banana jacks and the battery charger jack. Four of the front panel connector pins are used to mate with the measurement adapter cable and the other two pins are for the battery charging cable adapter. By using separate adapter cables for measurements and charging of the batteries, it ensures that the charge circuit cannot be activated at the same time as measurements are being made.

These boards incorporate up to 8GB of on-board RAM with up to 7GB/sec on Kintex 7 (up to 1.4GB/sec on Virtex 5) typical PCIe bus transfer rates enabling full-rate acquisition for long durations. All boards in the PCIe series are supported with the same user software allowing users to select the bit resolution and acquisition rate appropriate for a given application and then easily re-use the same software on a different part. Included with each card are graphical waveform viewers, example user software with source code included, and device drivers for Linux and Windows. The PCI-1800/1802 (L/H) is a family of high performance data acquisition board with 5V PCI bus. The PCI-1800/1802LU/HU card has a universal PCI interface supporting both 3.3 V and 5 V PCI bus. All the members in the PCI-1800 family have the same architecture; they feature a continuous A/D acquisition function of up to 330 kHz for low gain (44 kHz for high gain) under DOS and offer two 12-bit D/A output channels, 16 digital input channels and 16 digital output channels. The PCI-1800 series provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs while the PCI-1802 series provides 32 single-ended or 16 differential inputs. In addition, an amazing A/D channel scan function called “MagicScan” is provided for users to easily implement multi-channel analog data acquisition applications. The specific MagicScan controller takes out most works of getting A/D value such as selecting channel, setting gain, settling time, triggering ADC and getting data. Even in channel scan mode, it can have different gain code for each channel, and the sampling rate can still reach 330 kS/s totally. The PCI-1800 series is suitable for high end applications.

The AD8-1500DMA series has a 1500 MSPS 8-bit A/D, 8GB/16GB of on-board SDRAM memory and the ability to transfer data directly into the computer system's memory at up to 320 MB/s on 64-bit PCI systems. Sampling is controlled by an onboard oscillator or by an external clock input, which may be in the frequency range between 20 MHz and 1500 MHz. Multiple boards may be configured to acquire either concurrently, for more simultaneous acquisition channels, or sequentially, with an automatic overlap selectable from 0 to nearly 2GB, in 512KB steps, for longer record length.
