Safety Compliance Test System
EN 60601
Test system for electrical safety compliance testing of medical products in accordance with EN 60601-1, 3rd edition.The system is equipped with three test fixtures which are connected in parallel order to reduce the number of setup tasks for different variants in the course of day-to-day manufacturing processes. Its purpose is to test medical products, e. g. patient monitors, which are employed at hospitals to monitor heartbeat and oxygen saturation.Based on the integrated electrical safety tester by Associated Research, in combination with an AC power source and a switching matrix, it is possible to fully automate tests like for instance AC/DC high-voltage tests, insulation resistance measurements, earth connection tests and leakage current measurements.The required occupational safety is provided by a high-voltage safety hood in accordance with EN 501191. The entire safety technology, as well as the control PC, is mounted in an aluminum-profile cart.

newWaveX Suite
We Have a unique suite of tools to support the development and implementation of test programs created using IEEE 1641 to define the signals and tests. These include the entry-level version of newWaveX (newWaveX–Lite), the development versions of newWaveX (newWaveX–SD and newWaveX–PD) and the complete integrated development environment for IEEE 1641, SigBase. These tools provide everything necessary to work with IEEE 1641, from creating simple signals through to implementing and managing a complete 1641 test environment. All of our 1641 tools are commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items that may be used stand-alone or integrated into a complete test development environment. newWaveX products may be integrated with third party test executives and associated software.newWaveX is an intuitive user-friendly suite of products that does not require specialist training for users to acquire the skills to develop 1641 programs. Completing the IEEE 1641 User/Developer training course (which uses newWaveX Signal Development for the hands-on element), together with the associated 1 day newWaveX–SD User/Developer training course, provides complete information for the newWaveX user. Further support is provided for users of newWaveX packages under the maintenance agreements for those products.

Chassis Dynamometer Smoke Testers
A chassis dynamometer smoke tester (CDST) is used to test diesel emissions when the engine is under load. This is of course a much more realistic test than the commonly used free acceleration test. It is also better for the diesel engine.During a CDST test an automatic test cycle is performed, whereby the emission is measured at different engine loads. National RF’s 75-NS-3 receiver is a complete super-hetrodyne mini high frequency receiver, designed specifically for the short-wave listener, electronics enthusiast or radio amateur, who wants to use their hands and build a radio. The receiver is offered as a semi-kit in which the electronic assembly is loaded and functionally tested at the National RF facility. The customer must then go to the grocery store (yes…the grocery store!), procure a can of lunch meat, eat it or give it to the dog, and then proceed to drill and paint the can, in order for it to become the receiver’s enclosure! As the name of the preferred potted meat can has a registered trademark by Hormel Foods, Inc., it won’t be mentioned on this web-site. However, the name of the product is synonymous with unwanted email!!! In addition, there are other food products that might be found that are packaged in the same metallic enclosure. Detailed drilling instructions and final assembly instructions are provided as part of the kit. All other parts required for completion of the receiver are provided as well. Recognizing that the finished assembly looked somewhat like the fabled Collins receiver of the ‘60s, the 75S-3, (particularly when the can is painted a light gray) National RF engineers dubbed it (with tongue firmly planted in cheek, of course) the 75-NS-3! Although we have had fun packaging this receiver in a lunch meat can, it is nothing to turn your nose at! Its performance and portability will surprise you, and it is an ideal radio to bring with you on any trip!
