To satisfy ARINC 615/615A data loader requirements in system engineering labs, avionics system manufacturing, and maintenance depot applications, AIT provides data loader software that can be used together with AIT’s full line of ARINC 429, ARINC 664, and Ethernet interface modules and integrated into a variety of host desktop PC systems and ATE environments. The F-SIM-LDR-615 software provides ARINC 615-3/4 data loader support and is compatible with all of AIT’s ARINC 429 interface modules. The F-SIM-LDR-615A software application provides ARINC 615A-1 /2/3 data loader support over Ethernet and ARINC 664 networks and is compatible with all of AIT’s ARINC 664/Ethernet interfaces modules. The F-SIM-LDR-615 and F-SIM-LDR-615A software products include both graphical user interface (GUI ) data loader applications and command line data loaders which are scriptable and can be called from shell scripts, batch files, and python for support of automated load operations.

The 825CAN module is an intelligent multichannel ARINC 825 (CAN bus) interface module for the multiprotocol Excalibur 4000 & 8000 family of carrier boards. The module supports up to ten ARINC-825 channels. In receive mode, the module stores all or selected messages with status and Time Tag information appended to each message. In transmit mode, the module operates via a transmit Bandwidth Frame which allows scheduling of data transmissions and reduces the need for host computer intervention.

Avionic data loads can be performed from Floppy Disk, CD, DVD, USB, or the internal solid state Mass Storage Device (MSD). The MSD can be loaded in advance to eliminate the distribution of disks/memory devices to airplanes while significantly reducing the time to perform the data load tasks. The ICE3009 subsystem is an agile filter for the VHF-L, VHF-H and UHF frequency bands. It allows operation of a number of transceivers in a cosite environment. The VHF/UHF Filter provides multiple poles of RF selectivity to reduce broadband noise in transmit mode of operation and to reduce interfering signals at the transceiver’s RF input in receive mode at Have Quick II/IIa and SATURN tuning speeds. This design incorporates a flexible control scheme that can be configured at the factory for various radio interfaces (ARC-210, ARC-231, ARINC 429, etc.). The design is highly integrated and includes all filters, amplifiers, power supply, transmit and receive switching (including a bypass mode), and Built-in-Test (BIT).
