Absolute Optical Inclinometer
A2T
-
The A2T is a single axis, digital gravity angle sensor. The A2T serves as a full 360 range absolute tilt sensing programmable level with either digital or analog output. Internally, a rotary bar coded disk is mounted to a weighted gravity driven wheel. A micro-controller strobes an LED to transfer the bar code image onto an optical linear array, then decodes the position every 2 mSec. Magnetic damping provides fast response and settling time while virtually eliminating overshoot and oscillations. An internal EEPROM stores field programmable parameters such as resolution, zero position, direction swap, and mode. This second generation design virtually eliminates the primary accuracy limitation of first generation inclinometers, which is sitation (hysteresis).

Automatic Hysteresis Graph Test System
DX-4DMT
-
X-4DMT automatic hysteresigraph system accords with the standard permanent magnet test system, GB3217-92, used to measure the major and minor hysteresis loops, demagnetization curves, recoil hysteresis loops and initial magnetization curves in different temperature of ferrite, AlNiCo, SmCo, NdFeB and quenched material, and gives the magnetic parameter, Br, Hcb, Hcj, (BH)max, Hk and so on, and could meet different requirements on test function, precision, power capability, reliability, efficiency, price, local environment from laboratory to enterprise's production line.

Digital Input/Output Card
IOD-144
-
This is a 144-bit full-size card. A Programmable Peripheral Interface chip, type 8255-5 provides three 8-bit ports (A, B, and C) for each 24-bit group. Each port can be independently programmed for either input or output. Port C can also be configured as two 4-bit ports. These cards fully implement Mode 0 of the 8255 PPI chip. (Consult the factory if you desire to operate in Mode 1.) Type LS245 bi-directional transceivers sink 24 mA (optionally 64 mA) and source 15 mA. These transceiver buffers provide hysteresis correction on inputs and added drive capability on outputs. The direction of the transceivers is set by software.

Power Amplifier
5241
-
The Model 5241 is a voltage-controlled power amplifier designed exclusively for Magtrol's Model HD-825 Hysteresis Dynamometer. Because of its double braking system, the HD-825 requires more than 4 amps of power in order to reach full torque. The 5241 (which can provide up to 5 amps of output current) is necessary in order to amplify the power between a 6200 or DSP6001 Controller (which both have a maximum current output of 1 amp) and the HD-825 Dynamometer.

High-Dynamics PIMag Linear Stage
V-522 • V-524 • V-528
-
Physik Instrumente GmbH & Co. KG
Reference-class linear stage. Linear positioning stages with magnetic direct drives largely dispense with mechanical components in the drivetrain and the drive force acts directly on the motion platform. Together with precision bearings, a high travel accuracy and longer lifetime is achieved. The linear positioning stages are particularly suitable for scanning applications. PIMag® Voice Coil. Voice coil drives consist of 2 essential components: A permanent magnet and a coil, which is located in the air gap of the magnetic field. When current flows through the coil, it moves in the magnetic field of the permanent magnet. The direction of motion depends on the polarity. Thanks to their low weight and friction-free drive principle, voice coil drives are particularly suitable for applications, which require high dynamics and high velocities at limited travel ranges. High scan frequencies and precision positioning are also possible with these drives, because they are free of the effects of hysteresis.

Powder Brake Dynamometers
PB Series
-
The Powder Brake Dynamometer (PB Series) contains, as its name suggests, a magnetic powder. The electrical current passing through the coil generates a magnetic field, which changes the property of the powder, thus producing a smooth braking torque through friction. They are ideal for applications operating in the low to middle speed range or when operating in the middle to high torque range. Like Hysteresis Brakes, Powder Brakes provide full torque at zero speed. Like the Eddy-Current Brake Dynamometers, the PB series are water-cooled, allowing for power ratings up to 48 kW. The PB Dynamometers have accuracy ratings of 0.3% to 0.5% full scale ( 2% for PB 2.7), depending on size and system configuration. Additional mounting possibilities include speed pickup and OEM version IS.

Adaptive Inverse for Actuator Compensation Toolbox
AIFAC
-
Actuator nonlinearities such as dead-zone, backlash, and hysteresis are ubiquitous in mechanical connections, hydraulic servo-valves, electric servomotors, piezoelectric, pneumatic and magnetic actuators, and even appear in biomedical systems. The Adaptive Inverse For Actuator Compensation (AIFAC) Toolbox for Simulnk allows control system engineers to design high-performance adaptive controllers to compensate for uncertain or undesirable actuator dynamics that would otherwise adversely affect closed-loop control system performance.
