The EM A10 is a low level amplifier module for sensitive measurements, data collection and systems, where signals below 1 nanovolt may be measured. It is ideal for the input unit for precision voltage measuring systems, requiring voltage sensitivity for measuring low noise and low impedance sources. The noise level of the A10 is equivalent to a perfect resistor of about 20 ohms. When used with a digital voltmeter, steady one nanovolt digits may be displayed, with a response time constant of less than a second. The input voltage stability of the A10 is very high, with the drift around a nanovolt per degree C. The input connectors are made from pure copper. The input impedance is very high, and is time dependent, determined by the loop gain.

Magnetic Level Gauge Switches

ABB's magnetic level gauge switches for point level alarm and/or control can mount to a KM26 magnetic level gauge or an LS Series cage level switch.These switches are completely isolated from the process fluid as they are magnetically activated by a magnet equipped float (KM26) or attraction sleeve (LS Series). The unique magnetic coupling action eliminates seals, diaphragms, springs, and torque tubes common to other level switching alternatives since there is no physical contact with the process fluid. The magnetic coupling also eliminates process connections to the switch; therefore, no isolation valves are required to block off the switch for maintenance. The switch "set point" is easily adjustable without changing any process piping and the result is a more reliable and easier way to maintain level system.

IK ratings are defined as IKXX, where “XX” is a number from 00 to 10 indicating the degrees of protection provided by enclosures (including luminaires) against external mechanical impacts. The different IK ratings relate to the ability of an enclosure to resist impact energy levels measured in joules (J). IEC 62262 specifies how the enclosure must be mounted for testing, the atmospheric conditions required, the quantity and distribution of the test impacts and the impact hammer to be used for each level of IK rating. The IK test applicate on lighting luminaires test according to IEC60598 (GB7000) and IEC60068-2-75 (GB2423.55).
