The PCI-1800 family has the same architecture and has two 12-bit D/A output channels, 16 digital input channels, and 16 digital output channels. The PCI-1800H, PCI-1800L provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential inputs. The PCI-1802H and PCI-1802L provide 32 single-ended or 16 differential inputs. The -H means high gain model and the -L means low gain model. The scan function of PCI-1800 is so amazing. We call it Magic Scan. The variable channel scan function is found in some famous data acquisition boards. Compared to Variable channel scan, the Magic Scan improves a lot functions and meets the demand of high end users. The Magic Scan mechanism not only scans the different input channels at vastly different rates, but also at different gain. Even in multi-channel scans, the sampling rates can maintain at 330KS/s.

All channels provide for voltage division ahead of transient suppression before going into the S&H ICs. Channels that are sampled and held use a common sample and hold pulse that samples while high and holds while low. Jumpers on each S&H chip allow buffering of analog signals where sample and holds are not required. An advantage to the buffers is that it provides a high input impedance for high impedance voltage dividers.

The NTDS I/O Analyzer provides insight and visibility, enabling users to quickly and efficiently analyze timing relationships, message protocols, throughput, and data integrity on all types of NTDS interfaces. It is capable of monitoring any combination of NTDS Parallel Type A, B, C, H and NTDS Serial Type D, E channels as defined in the MIL-STD-1397 revision B and C specifications regardless of NTDS mode. The channels are connected to existing NTDS cabling with NTDS tap boxes and extract ongoing communication. Each word of NTDS information received is time-stamped with a 125 nanosecond resolution clock ensuring highly accurate timing measurements. Data collected is stored locally for analysis and can be transmitted to external equipment enabling remote troubleshooting, event reconstruction, or time-critical feedback on system performance.
