LISN & Voltage Probes
All commercial LISNs include an artificial hand connection and a transient limiter. This adds a 30dB insertion loss. A 30dB pre-amplifier is included which can be connected in the RF output feed to return the insertion loss to 0dB. The Voltage Probe requirement is covered by our PLIP (Power LIne Interference Probe). ECPR System (Electrically Calibrated Pyroelectric Radiometer)

Developed in conjunction with NIST, the Rs-5900 ECPR is a ±1% absolute accuracy radiometric transfer standard for the visible to near-IR (0.25-2.0µm), with the RsIR Option extending the ±1% accuracy to >20µm. The RsP-590 Pyroelectric Probe requires no cooling and maintains ±1% accuracy from 1 µW to 100 mW. The ECPR uses an auto-nulling, electrical substitution technique that allows the instrument to be referenced against NIST electrical standards, insuring maximum accuracy and precision. Unlike most electrically calibrated radiometers, there is a direct correlation between electrical and optical heating because the same material serves as both the optical absorber and electrical heating element.

The RCPWM2V is a device that converts a standard hobby RC signal (1-2ms pulse) into a proportional analog voltage (0-5V). In many electronics applications the main processor is constantly busy and does not have the ability to address the time-sensitive PWM signal from an RC receiver immediately. This results in signal distortion or a sluggish response due to the extra filtering required. The RCPWM2V provides a simple solution by converting the signal into an analog signal. The main processor can then read the signal whenever it has time.
