High-precision weighing and dosing systems for the process industry are the passion of Penko Engineering B.V. The Dutch company, with headquarters in Ede, is developing and manufacturing effective weighing products and individual solutions for over 40 years. Furthermore Penko supplies OEMs and system integrators with components and products from the areas of weighing, dosing, display and sequence control for integration in machine systems. The main focus is on batch-controlled production processes in the food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical industry, packaging and paper industry, metal industry and the petrochemical industry. In addition to classic standalone products, Penko sees itself as a holistic solution provider for tailor-made process handling – from planning, design and manufacture to electronic equipment, assembly and commissioning. Since 2004, the company has been part of the globally active American group ETC Inc. Penko is also a member of the VLW, the association of Dutch weighing technology providers and the association of German Machine and Plant Manufacturers (VDMA).

Controllers
PENKO controllers are flexible and customizable solutions which can regulate a single process and/or multiple processes simultaneously. These include the flagship Omega PLC, the Flex collection of controllers and 1020 and SGM800 ranges. Unlike the Omega PLC, our controllers are designed for smaller automation processes which have several lines with different capabilities that are suitable for all weighing automation processes. We have options for preset (fixed) weighing solutions like a PLC weighing card and stand-alone weighing solutions available. It is also possible to integrate our customized (weighing or non-weighing; single or multiple processes) automation solutions in the customers larger process automation.

Platforms
At PENKO we can design and manufacture custom-made platforms of any size and weighing capacity which are suited to your requirements. Our wide range of platforms come in various sizes and weights, with dimensions from 300mm x 300mm to 2m x 3m and weight capacities from 3kg to 6000kg. A platform is the combination of a framework or a top and bottom frame, one load cell or four load cells and a cover. As the load cell / cells are integrated, it offers a measuring system that is immediately ready for use. PENKO’s range of industrial platforms includes dimensions from 150mm x 150mm up to 4 x 1.5m and weighing capacities from 0 – 3kg up to 0 – 6.000kg. The finish takes in stainless steel or mild steel, coated, place.
