The 8012e Low Profile PCI Express digital interface provides eight optically isolated inputs and eight Reed relay outputs (SPST). The isolated inputs are non-polarized and rated for 3-30 VDC. Optical isolation protects the PC and other sensitive equipment from the voltage spikes and ground loop currents that are common to industrial environments.
