As well, ADLINK’s Softmotion one-stop control kernel delivers flexible and easy-to-use intelligent platforms for driving next-generation modern Smart Factories. ADLINK's EPS slave system brings the power the flexibility to EtherCAT environments. State-of-the-art modular construction allows the EtherCAT slave to be configured to fulfill the needs of both small local applications and expansive distributed platforms. The EPS system with comprehensive and high-density I/O modules that include DI/O, pulse-chain motion modules. Leveraging ARM and FPGA technologies, the EPS slave is able to monitor and report system integrity via EtherCAT communication, while relay module lifecycle and signal integrity of analog output are monitored cyclically, and hot swappability reduces downtime significantly. Uniquely designed for full operability in conditions from -20°C to 60°C,the EPS slave system is also fully compliant with the EN 60068-2 standard for shock and vibration and EN 61000-6 for heavy industrial EMC protection, as well as emission certification. Corresponding ESI files for each EPS system can be generated thru ADLINK's Windows-based EtherCAT slave utility, LinkMasterPro™.

This model supports ubiquitous high-speed data transfer interfaces PCIe 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen2 and SATA 6 Gb/s (SATA III), with dual-channel DDR4 2400/2666 MHz non-ECC memory up to 32 GB in two SODIMM slots. ADLINK's new PCIe-9834 high-speed PCI Express digitizer, featuring four simultaneously sampled 80 MS/s input channels with 16-bit resolution, 40 MHz bandwidth, and up to 1 GB DDR3 onboard memory. Each of the four input channels supports up to 80MS/s sampling, with 16-bit resolution A/D converter. This allows simultaneous recording of signals on all channels with no interchannel phase delay. The extremely large onboard memory enables long recording times even at the highest sampling rates. Each connection pair (lane) can achieve burst connection speeds of 250MB/s. The PCIe-9834, based on x4 lane slot PCI Express technology, provides a clear advantage in that direct connection of each slot allows full transfer bandwidth for each individual card.

The ADLINK PCIe/PXIe-9529 is a high-performance, high density, 8-CH analog input dynamic signal acquisition module. The PCIe/PXIe-9529 features eight 24-bit simultaneously sampling analog input channels. The 24-bit sigma-delta ADC provides a sampling rate of 192 kS/s at high resolution, making it ideal for higher dynamic range signal measurement. All channels are sampled simultaneously and accept input range up to ±10V, and the analog inputs support software-selectable AC or DC coupling and 4 mA bias current for integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) sensors. The module is especially designed to meet the requirements of vibration analysis and audio testing.

ADLINK PCIe-8334 is a hardware-based EtherCAT motion controller able to support up to 32 synchronized axes and over 10,000 points simultaneously. The PCIe-8332 features dedicated isolated emergency stop input (EMG), and configurable isolated high-speed digital input as not only generic sensor input but also pulsar input, with up to 1MHz input frequency. Optimum jitter control is provided in minimal cycles of 250µs to optimize synchronous I/O performance for vertical automation applications in semiconductor, electronic manufacturing, and others. The PCIe-8334 provides an out-of-shell application-ready (APS) function library to generate multi-dimensional, highly synchronized, time-deterministic event-triggered motion & I/O control. A wide range of compatible 3rd party SubDevice are easily designed with ADLINK's APS function library. ADLINK's MotionCreatorPro 2 utility is fully compliant with the Microsoft Windows environment, that allows complete EtherCAT motion and I/O configuration and function evaluation as well as compiling program download functions.
