The SixPak has two components: a relay matrix and a control box, there are several options for the controller.The relay matrix allows the selection of any 6 antennas by 2 radios or feedlines. Its lockout circuitry prevents both radios from selecting the same antenna. (The 6x1 type of SixPak is now replaced by our RatPak remote 6 way antenna switch.)The usual set-up has one SixPak dual rotary control box, which is manually operated from the radios positions. The control box for the 6x2 contains two rotary switches and 12 LEDs, so the operator can see which antennas are selected.

The AS-RXFEP Receiver protector limits input RF signal threshold from 1 to 150MHz to less than 0.3 Vrms to protect a receiver front end from damage due to nearby transmitted signals. The receiver still actsnormally and measured signal strength is not affected.The circuit uses a multi-stage design of transformer saturation coupling and current limiters. It also incorporates a low voltage GDT to protect from lightning events. These are for receiving only - you cannot transmit through them without damaging the unit.

With other antennas, it should be set at a lower power (max. 2kW).The major advantage of the tuner is that during competitions it is possible to change BANDs particularly quickly.

The Power Master II wattmeter has the ability to have two couplers connected to it, and it has provision to allow switching very easily between the two couplers through only two button presses on the front panel.When operating SO2R, you do not want to have to toggle from one coupler to another. We make matched couplers available for SO2R users and due to the nature of these couplers being high impedancedevices, we can actually connect the two coupler inputs in parallel and instead of toggling between the two couplers, they will both be connected and active at the same time. The first step is to disconnect all connections to the rear panel of your Power Master II and remove the two #6-32 philips screws on either side of the cabinet.

With the ability to monitor your VSWR and power levels at all times, you will know that your transmitter, RF source, and load, or antenna systems are operating effectively and safely. In addition, the power and VSWR relay alarms can quickly shut down your power amplifier system and alert you to the alarm condition. This places an additional layer of protection in your transmitting system to help preserve expensive tubes and finals. The PowerMaster also features the ability to be monitored and controlled from a PC via the bundled software, and the unique ability to be monitored and controlled over a LAN or from the internet. By inserting the control voltage on the coax cable feed-line, you eliminate the requirement for external DC wires for powering remote devices.The Bias-T PLUS weatherproof assembly means that it can be placed indoors or outdoors for maximum flexibility. Typically, one Bias-T PLUS will be placed indoors for inserting DC on your coax feed-line, and one Bias-T PLUS will be placed at the remote device where the DC voltage is extracted.
