PCI113 is VadaTech second generation PCIe expansion module. The PCI113 is a high-speed 20Gbps bridge from the host PCIe bus to VadaTech’s carrier and Rear Transition Module (RTM) products such as the ATC104/114/118/117/119, ART114, μTCA chassis, etc. The different carriers host different I/O modules such as PMC/PrPMC, AMC, PCI-X and PCIe edge modules. This concept allows any of the available I/O modules in these standard form factors to be integrated quickly and easily into an AdvancedTCA or μTCA subsystem. The PCI113 allows expansion among multiple μTCA chassis or expansion into other chassis that are not ATCA or μTCA based.The PCI113 is a single module PCIE based on the PCISIG specification. The PCI113 provides a PCIe x4 link infiber/copper via front panel QSFP. The dual front I/O allows expansion into two separate systems independently. The upstream port must not have spread spectrum PCIe clock enabled.

The VadaTech UTC003 is the most feature-rich MCH (MicroTCA Carrier Hub) for the Conduction Cooled μTCA chassis in the market. It’s management software is based on VadaTech’s proven Carrier Manager and Shelf Manager. The MCMC manages the power modules, the two CU (Cooling Units) and up to 12 AMCs within the μTCA chassis. It also interfaces to and manages the on-board fabric interfaces. The module is available with PCIe, SRIO, 10GbE Layer 3 managed, and GbE Layer 2 managed. The UTC003 runs Linux 2.6 on it’s MCMC CPU and is hot-swappable and fully redundant when used in conjunction with a second instance of the module. The firmware is HPM.1 compliant which allows for ease of upgrade. The UTC003 provides Fabric (100 Mhz HCSL) clock to each AMC.

The ART001 is an I/O expansion ATCA Rear Transition Module (ARTM) that provides GbE, 10 GbE, PCIe and Management I/O for the front blade. The module is designed to mate with any ATCA Carrier. ART001 provides PCIe x8 access via an iPASS connector to the rear. The GbE rear access is provided via six SFP ports and five RJ-45 ports. The PCI104 is a PCIe carrier for PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC) or Processor PCI Mezzanine Cards (PrPMC). The PCI104 carrier allows simplified testing of PMC/PrPMCs and their associated PMC I/O Modules (PIMs) by using a PC environment during board development or deployment. The PCI104 can also reduce the costs of manufacturing PMC/PrPMCs by allowing manufacturers to use off-the-shelf PCs for functional testing. The PCI104 converts the PCIe x4 edge connection to PCI-X via a PCIe to PCI-X bridge. The trace lengths to the PMC/PrPMCare kept to a minimum so the PMC/PrPMC can run with a133MHz PCI-X clock speed. The J4 connector of the installed PMC/PrPMC is routed to a 96-pin DIN connector per theVITA-35 specification. The PCIe to PCI-X bridge can run in either transparent or non-transparent mode and can also operate in forward or reverse mode. The PCI104 has a fan mounted on the board to cool the PMC/PrPMC. The fan can easily be removed for testing and probing of hosted card.
