Trip, Auxiliary and Supervision Relays
Delta Series
-
The Delta relays provides a robust and reliable interface between protection and control system circuits. A more economical alternative to traditional auxiliary, trip and supervision relays, the Delta provides a compact, flexible and high performance solution while meeting relevant IEC standards.

Instantaneous Relays
-
An Instantaneous Relay is one in which there is no time delay provided intentionally. As the current coil is an inductor, there would be a certain delay to reach the current in the coil to its maximum value.

Miniature Circuit Breakers
-
Miniature circuit breakers are applied to protect electric applications against an over current. When an electrical circuit is not protected the application can be damaged and unsafe situations may happen like fire. Mors Smitt delivers a wide range of miniature circuit breakers specially designed and tested according to railway regulations.

Safety Critical Miniature Relays
CU-V Series
-
The CU-V is a so called safety relay which is used in places where a safe separation between coil and contact circuit is required. The relay is, with the corresponding screw socket V12, according to CEE 15/2e edition, approved by KEMA, for application in gas fired installations.

Trip, Auxiliary and Supervision Relays
Alpha Series
-
The Alpha Series represents a range of new generation of electro-mechanical auxiliary, tripping and supervision relays for power utility protection and control applications. The Alpha relay platform and provides high performance and reliability while reducing production and supply lead times. Application of the Alpha relays ensures reliable multi-contact operation combined with a high visibility mechanical flag.

Automatic Power Control system
-
The Automatic Power Control system cuts the incoming power supply to a traction unit for short periods. This is required where power supplied from one part of a power distribution system in separated from another by a neutral section. Its fitment prevents damage to the power distribution system or the vehicle.

Voltage Protection
-
Are solid state voltage sensing relays with electromechanical output contacts built in a fully draw out case format. Designed for application on AC & DC voltage systems, these relays are ideally suited to monitor power supply voltage levels wherever high accuracy and reliable, maintenance free operation is essential. All power to operate the relays is derived from the sensed input voltage therefore an auxiliary supply is not required.

Frequency Sensing Relay
-
This relay is a frequency monitoring relay with four stages of adjustable frequency pick up & drop out points. Each frequency set point can be set for under or over frequency operation & has an independent time delay driving an output relay. An undervoltage lockout is used to disable the four frequency outputs when the voltage falls below a preset level. Each of the four setting stages has a rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) element with an independent time delay.
