A humidity detector, also referred to as a humidity meter or humidity gauge, is a device with a humidity sensor that measures the relative humidity in the air. PCE Instruments offers a number of humidity detector products including handheld humidity detector, data recording or data logging humidity detector, and combination or multifunction humidity detector devices that also measure parameters such as room or ambient temperature and atmospheric or barometric pressure. A humidity detector can measure relative humidity (RH) as a percentage (%) from 0 to 100 % RH, depending on the humidity measurement range of the specific model.Humidity is a key factor in everything from library and museum archival to agriculture, construction, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR). Roughness is an important parameter when trying to find out whether a surface is suitable for a certain purpose. Rough surfaces often wear out more quickly than smoother surfaces. Rougher surfaces are normally more vulnerable to corrosion and cracks, but they can also aid in adhesion. A roughness tester is used to quickly and accurately determine the surface texture or surface roughness of a material. A roughness tester shows the measured roughness depth (Rz) as well as the mean roughness value (Ra) in micrometers or microns (µm). Measuring the roughness of a surface involves applying a roughness filter. Different international standards and surface texture or surface finish specifications recommend the use of different roughness filters. For example, a Gaussian filter often is recommended in ISO standards.

The portable manual insulation tester is used for determining insulation resistance, continuous current, alternating current and testing. Handheld Tachometers

The handheld tachometer is a means of measuring revolutions within the industrial sector, either optically or mechanically. The handheld tachometer can be used for maintenance and calibration of machines that have moving parts. The principle is similar to a bicycle speedometer, where time will be measured until a wheel has completely turned. The handheld tachometer has two different measurement methods.The handheld tachometer may have a contact connection to the moving parts. Alternatively, the handheld tachometer works with reflecting marks. This will be secured on the moving part. As the laser strikes the reflecting mark during rotation, it will be reflected and detected in the handheld tachometer via a sensor. Rotation speed and speed can be seen on the handheld tachometer.
