It is constructed from 4 bundles of 50-wire round/flat ribbon cables, unterminated with tinned ends. The connector assembly can be secured to its mating connector by female screwlocks.

It has been designed to exhibit low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost.
