64-Channel Form A General Purpose Switch for 34980A
34939A
The Keysight 34939A is a high density general-purpose switch module for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit. It has 64 independent single-pole, single-throw (SPST) relays that can switch 1A and carry 2A. This module can be used to cycle power to products under test, control indicator and status lights, and to actuate external power relays and solenoids. The relays are 100V, 1A contacts and can handle up to 60W. Standard 78-pin Dsub connectors allow for use with standard cables, screw terminal blocks, or mass interconnect solutions.

This PXI fault insertion switch uses solid state switching elements and is capable of switching current up to 10A. It is designed to be able to insert three different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit. Short-Circuit between UUT connections. Short-Circuit to external signals. Through relays on each channel enable signals to the UUT to be set open-circuit. Fault Insertion Buses allow any channel to be shorted to any other channel and also enable any channel to be connected to an external signal such as Power, Ignition or Ground to simulate fault conditions. PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module
PXI Signal Insertion Switch Modules, also known as fault insertion units (FIUs), provide a set of feedthrough channels, which make the switch transparent to the system when closed. You can open or short these channels to one of two fault buses, allowing you to simulate open or interrupted connections as well as shorts between pins, shorts to battery voltages, and shorts to ground on a per-channel basis. When controlled with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, the PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module can validate the integrity of control systems including engine control units (ECUs) and full authority digital engine controls (FADECs).
