Multiplexer Module
This range of High-Density Multiplexer is part of our BRIC family. These MUX's are designed to simplify the connection of a common set of test equipment to one of a number of different devices for testing (simultaneous multiple channel selection is also possible, without limitation). These multiplexers are ideal for applications where the equipment needs to conduct the same test process on a series of similar devices one at a time. They are available in a variety of configurations that allow testing with differing number of devices to be tested and different connection widths to suit differing test equipment pin counts. All version are supported in a BRIC8 construction that occupies eight PXI 3U mechanical slots, one of which provides the PXI interface and power.

The module is based on the latest micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) switching technology and has low insertion loss and VSWR. In addition, MEMS devices have a long operational life of >3 billion operations and benefit from an operating time of <20 μs allowing greater test system throughput. The multiplexers have excellent and repeatable RF characteristics beyond 4 GHz with each path having a nominally equal insertion loss.

The 65-231-702-HI plug-in module is part of a scalable high voltage multiplexer platform that provides a high voltage switching solution with capability up to 7 kV. Multiplexers are created by populating the 65-200-002 scalable chassis with multiplexer plug-in modules that provide access to the Channel and Common signals on 51-pin front panel connectors. Users can specify as many or as few plug-in modules as they require and can field upgrade the chassis to extend the multiplexer.
