Populated with four 16-pole screw terminal blocks, the board addresses high voltage (HiPot) testing to 2100Vdc/1200Vac. Of particular interest to the harness testing market, the CB29H is also available as a transition board variant (CB29AH). The CB29H and CB29AH boards are high voltage versions of the CB29 with the high voltage traces running on inner layers to afford additional safety, and protection from contamination.

Switch Probes
A Switch Probe is a spring contact probe and receptacle combination that is normally open, and after a designated travel the switch probe closes. The most common use for switch probes is in the cable harness testing industry. The switch probe is used to verify the correct location of a terminal in a connector while checking the retention force as well. Switch Probes
A switch probe is designed primarily for “presence/ electrical” test applications such as detecting the absence or presence of contacts within a wire harness connector. In this case, the switch probe provides electrical interconnection and verifies the connector has been manufactured properly. If contacts are missing or out of place, the part is rejected. If all the contacts are in place, the part is accepted and an electrical test is performed, verifying the electrical integrity of the connector and the wires within the harness.
