ELM Electronic Load Module
Circuit breakers are often overlooked during maintenance of electrical systems in aircraft, or often only verified for open and closed states. To test the true functional purpose of a circuit breaker it requires the application of current in excess of the rated trip value and then measure the time for the breaker to actually trip. This is the only way to verify that a circuit breaker will react as designed if an electrical failure occurs.

The LBO Series (Load Button) load cells are offered for compression only applications where space is limited. Matching surface must be flat and at least the diameter of (D1). The loading diameter (D2) is slightly convex for accurate load distribution. Threaded mounting holes are provided on the bottom surface for fastening down from beneath. These sensors are manufactured from heat treated 17-4phstainless steel and sealed for use in mostindustrial environments.

The 40-877A-102 (PXI) and 42-877A-102 (PXIe) are 50Ω 2x2 RF matrices with 2 banks in a single slot. Loop-thru connections are provided on both the X and Y axis allowing the attachment of terminations for unused signals or for expansion to other matrices. Larger matrices are easily built with varied X and Y dimensions, such as 8x2 and 4x4 using multiple 40/42-877A modules. The module has low insertion loss and VSWR through the use of modern RF relay technology at an affordable cost.
