To ensure the safety of operator it is essential that the Earth path (connection) should offer minimum impedance to by pass short circuit Current to Earth. This is ensured by measuring Resistance of the Earth path by passing heavy Current say 25 A. The Earth Contact Resistance Tester essentially comprises of a Variable Current source with digital Ammeter to measure the Current supplied. The Voltage drop across the Earth path is measured with a digital Voltmeter. Optionally for a particular Current (25 A) the meter can be calibrated in terms of Resistance. A timer is provided to switch off the Current after the Set Time.

PD5143 is an IP67 outdoor, weather resistant, DC blocking, four way, RF broadband, 50 ohm, power divider, power combiner furnished with SMA type coaxial connectors. The passive Wilkinson design passes RF and the 10 MHz reference signal through both ports while blocking DC current. This configuration is typically used in combining applications to prevent passing DC to the sum and adjacent ports. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked ports is 50 VDC. The SI314 also displays the transducer temperature, date of calibration, model and serial numbers and these can be viewed wirelessly or by Ethernet connection. The SI314 makes your P61 accessible from anywhere in the world. Data logging of pressure data is configured via a web browser or smart phone and readings may be stored once per minute to once per hour. A thumb drive or memory card collects the data in comma separated file format(csv) for download to your computer. The data may also be accessed via the network. A graph of the data is also generated on request. A Twitter function allows pressure data to be tweeted from the SI314 at user-defined intervals. The transducer zero and span calibration adjustments are password protected and operated via browser buttons. No potentiometer adjustments are required to calibrate the P61 transducer.
