Quad RF Driver

The Quad RF Driver contains four independent RF channels, each with an RF synthesizer, variable attenuator, and 1W power amplifier. The RF signal can originate from either the internal synthesizer or an external source via SMA input. All channels have independent frequency, phase, and gain settings and can be operated in one of two modes. The “Wideband” mode operates from 35MHz to 2GHz with a 3.472KHz resolution; over this range the frequency roll-off is approximately 0.5dB/100MHz. “Int-N Phase Adjust” mode allows the user to set and maintain a fixed phase relationship between all four channels. This mode is designed to operate between 300 and 460MHz with a 2MHz resolution. Two additional inputs are provided for an external frequency reference and digital modulation.

A decibel meter is a measuring instrument used to assess noise or sound levels by measuring sound pressure. The Model N360 measures carbon dioxide (CO2) by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference according to the Beer-Lambert law.The N360 uses Gas Filter Correlation (GFC) to overcome the interfering effects of various other gases (such as water vapor) that also absorb IR. The analyzer passes the IR beam through a spinning wheel made up of two separate chambers: one containing a high concentration of CO2 known as the reference, and the other containing a neutral gas known as the measure. The concentration of CO2 in the sample chamber is computed by taking the ratio of the instantaneous measure and reference values and then compensating the ratio for sample temperature and pressure. A nitrogen purge system is provided for the GFC wheel assembly to eliminate the effects of ambient CO2, if necessary.
