It is comprised of two separate enclosures each with dimensions of (78” H x 38” W x 26” D) which are integrated together to form a single enclosure. Each half enclosure has one 6 pulse transformer and one 6 pulse high voltage rectifier. Weight: Approx. 5000 lbs. SCR Controller: The 12 pulse SCR controller is supplied by the customer. We were responsible for the 12 pulses Transformer and 12 pulses Rectifier section. Portability: Unit can be lifted up with a fork lift. It can also be moved around with a 5000 lb pallet jack. Transformer: Two 200 KVA transformers are used to step 480 VAC to 3750 VAC each in a 12 pulse configuration Rectifiers: Two 6 pulse rectifier assemblies capable for 5000 VDC and 60 Amps output were used. The high voltage rectifier assemblies are isolated and protected in a fiberglass plenum within the enclosure. Blocking Diode: Each diode of the 6 pulse rectifier consists of 10 diodes in series to offer a blocking voltage of 12000 V (PIV)

The Kinetics model SVRFP Exciter/Regulator rectifier is designed and rated in capacity and operating parameters for the application of exciting the fields on an AC generator in parallel with other AC generators and the power system is a "stiff system" in relation to loading. A "stiff system" is a generating system that is of sufficient capacity or the generator is "small" in relation to the system grid, that the AC system voltage under impulse/step loading condition does not require forcing of the generator field to maintain the power grid voltage. Systems are designed with a standard unit service factor to operate within the +10% to -20% nominal voltage rating at 100% current rating.

LA-1 HC Floor Conductivity Tester Hand Crank is an easy-to-use meter developed for accurately testing the conductivity of floors and equipment. The LA- 1 must be used regularly to monitor proper conductivity with NFPA code # 99. Regular use of the LA-1 will establish and maintain procedures for the proper maintenance of conductive floors, eliminate fire hazards, and provide a static free environment. A hand crank AC type generator provides a rectified DC test potential. Additionally, there are no brushes to wear out. The LA-1 has an easy-to-read scale that is selectively expanded electronically to assure accurate readings over the entire range of the instrument and the scale has a length of 3.75. This is 42% longer than typical competitive testers. The LA-1 uses 500V DC to test the resistance (in ohms) between two points. (NFPA Code #99) The meter comes ready-to-use (tin foil must be applied to bottom of weights). Simply follow the instructions for use and instantly obtain an accurate measurement. Transformer Rectifier Assemblies
Transformer rectifier assemblies are very useful in OEM applications when unregulated DC output is required. Input power can be single-phase or three phases. With single-phase input power, the output ripple is 50%. With three-phase input power, the output ripple is 5%. A 5% output ripple is a clear advantage. Hence, transformer rectifier assemblies with three-phase input power are more popular. Circuit breakers, fuses, voltmeters, and ammeters can be added per customer requirements. The assemblies can be an open frame or inside an indoor enclosure.

Earth Ground Meters
The earth tester determines ground resistance for both specific and ohm resistances. The earth tester is powered by batteries and have a clock timer function (3 minutes), Data-Hold function, a 3 ½ positions LCD display and their dimensions are 163 x 100 x 50 mm. Resistance ranges come from 20, 200 to 2000 ohms. They have a resolution of 10 / 100 mΩ / 1 Ω. The earth tester measure resistance by means of a constant reverse current (approx. 800 Hz, 2 mA). To measure ground voltage a rectifier is used (5 kΩ/V aprox. 40...500 Hz). The earth tester PKT-2630 series have a small format as well as multiple functions.

Analog Power Supply
Type NPS-2412
National RF's Type NPS-2412 analog power supply was designed to be used in communication equipment where radiated switching inverter noise from conventional “switching type” supplies is not acceptable. The power supply consists of a standard rectified transformer output driving a pair of voltage regulators and filtering networks. The 2412 offers an adjustable voltage output between 2 and 24 volts as well as a fixed voltage output of 12 volts. A maximum of 20 Watts of DC power can be supplied from the unit. As the voltage regulators dissipate power in the regulation process, the power to the load is derated accordingly, dependent on the set voltage to the load. The adjustable regulator is a standard LM-317T integrated circuit device. The fixed regulator is a standard LM 7812 device. Upon customer request, the LM 7812 device may be changed to any voltage rating within the the LM-78xx series of regulators. Contact National RF for this modification if desired.
