The C Series Current Output Module features up to eight channels of simultaneous analog output. You can choose between enclosed and non-enclosed modules. Additionally, the C Series Current Output Module has built-in open-loop detection. This detection generates an interrupt in software when an open loop is detected, zeros outputs to ensure safety, and avoids driving actuators at system power-on. The C Series Current Output Module requires an external power supply and includes a channel-to-earth ground double isolation barrier for safety and noise immunity.The C Series Current Output Module includes the NI-DAQmx driver and configuration utility that simplify configuration and measurements. The advantage of using a Hall effect sensor, specifically, is that the circuit being sensed and the circuit reading the sensor are electrically isolated meaning that, although your Arduino is running on 5V, the sensed circuit can be operating at higher DC or AC voltages!
