Switching System Test Tools
eBIRST
The eBIRST toolset consists of three different tools that support 200-pin LFH, 78-pin and 50-pin connectors and a set of adaptors that allow connection to other connector types. A supplied application program controls the eBIRST tools via a USB2 port that also provides the tool power and controls the switching system using a Test Definition File to define the test sequence. These tools work by measuring the path resistance at the switching system external connectors using four-wire measurements, quickly establishing whether the path is good, has increased resistance or has failed. The DI-NH3 delivers dissolved ammonia, providing optimal cleaning capability in an alkaline chemistry, minimizing material loss and contamination and inhibiting Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). Using closed-loop control, conductivity and pressure are kept stable under changing flow conditions. The dissolved ammonia concentration is monitored and adjusted, delivering the specific NH4OH concentration needed. Dissolved ammonia’s alkaline chemistry provides ESD protection during rinsing, particle lift-off, and residual photoresist removal in middle-of-line (MOL) and prevents corrosion of cobalt/copper interfaces.

X-Ray And Gamma Detector Systems
The XR-100CR is a new high performance x-ray detector, preamplifier, and cooler system using a thermoelectrically cooled Si-PIN photodiode as an xray detector. Also mounted on the 2-stage cooler are the input FET and a novel feedback circuit. These components are kept at approximately -55 °C, and are monitored by an internal temperature sensor. The hermetic TO-8 package of the detector has a light tight, vacuum tight thin Beryllium window to enable soft xray detection. The XR-100T-CdTe represents a breakthrough in xray detector technology by providing “off-the-shelf” performance previously available only from expensive cryogenically cooled systems. The XR-100-CdTe is also suited for measuring gamma rays.
