Targeting for the next-generation 40Gb/s system based on advanced optical differential phase shift keying (DPSK) demodulation, Optoplex’s 40Gb/s Integrated DPSK Receiver (DPSK Rx) demodulates an incoming DPSK optical signal into a pair of differentially (amplitude) modulated RF outputs at data rate up to 43Gb/s in a compact package. Phase modulated optical signals offer much better dispersion performance compared with traditional amplitude modulated counterparts because the carrier light stays on all the time so that the intensity-dependent nonlinear effects in the transmission link are avoided, resulting in longer transmission distances.

The FastX1703 framegrabber series is for users who anticipate a demand for extreme I/O requirements and/or higher bandwidth, complex image processing and real-time high-speed storage in a cost effective platform. The base FastX1703, is a two thirds length raw form factor PCI board six basic 85 MHz Camera Link Channels or an extended Camera Link camera interface. An auxilliary I/O connector provides a header for adaptation of other high speed interfaces such as LVDS or high speed analog formats such as UXGA or DVI. The Lumistar LS-27-B Modular Dual Channel Tri-Band Tracking and Data Receiver is Lumistar’s third generation of modular high performance FM Receivers. This wideband designs supports one or two independent channels of PCM with data rates up to 20Mbps. The unit includes both an optional FM demodulated output for PCM data, and standard programmable AM/linear AGC outputs for auto-tracking receivers. The design offers 8 IF Bandwidths and 8 Video Filters per channel for each receiver.AC coupling with a low pass filter is employed to ensure a high quality data link with long strings of NRZ-L ones or zeroes.
