Optical Receiver Stress Test Solution

The N4917B software provides an automated standard compliant stressed receiver sensitivity test according to 100GBASE-LR4, ER4 and SR4 test specification. In order to do this kind of test, several test instruments such as a bit error ratio tester, digital sampling oscilloscope, optical reference transmitter and tunable laser source are required to operate together to achieve a compliant, repeatable optical stressed eye. This stressed eye is then fed to the receiver under test, where bit error ratio is measured under the stress conditions as defined in the standard.

Max voltage rating is 50 VDC; maximum current rating is 1000 mA. Furnished with SMA female connectors all ports. Being a "micro-sized" splitter, GPSL10 weighs only 21 grams and is suitable for applications requiring low-weight parts.

The RR024 is designed for Radar Electronic Support (RES) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) applications where high performance and small size are of prime importance, with filtering, amplification, detection and pulse parameter measurement being combined into one multi-function unit. Four amplitude measurement channels allow direction finding by amplitude comparison between adjacent antennas. An IFM, fed from one of the amplitude channels via an SPDT switch, performs 14 bits of frequency measurement on the selected input. Frequency resolution is nominally 1 MHz over a 2 to 18 GHz band.

It is ideally suited for satellite communication with standard satellite dishes since it includes a DiSEqC driver IC for LNB controlling. The board allows to build receivers with symbol rates of up to 100 Msymbols/s. Due to the low-pin-count (LPC) FMC connector it can be used with any FMC carrier board that supports VADJ=1.8V.
