While scalar feed horns with a rectangular waveguide interface can only support linear polarization, models with a circular waveguide interface can support various polarization types including horizontal, vertical, left-handed circular, and right-handed circular polarization for broader applications. The standard models operate across the full waveguide band and offer 17 dBi nominal gain, 25 degrees half power beamwidth and a -28 dB side lobe level at center frequency. The Keysight 8494G dc to 4 GHz programmable step attenuator offers exceptional repeatability and reliability. Attenuation is provided in 1 dB steps from 0 to 11 dB. Precision gold-plated leaf springs ensure long-life (over 5 million cycles) and very high attenuator repeatability (typically 0.01 dB). To improve measurement accuracy, NIST traceable data (SWR and attenuation) is available as Option UK6. A maximum switching time of 20 ms (including contact settling) speeds automatic testing. Custom step attenuator/switch combinations are possible. The Keysight 11716A/B/C interconnect kits provide quick connection of Keysight 8494/5/6/7 1 dB and 10 dB step attenuators in series for greater dynamic range with 1 dB steps.

Guzik Read/Write Analyzers (RWA) work in conjunction with Spinstands to write data to the disk media and read back the signal for detailed analysis. We have two RWA-4000 series available for For Two Dimensional Magnetic Recording (TDMR) and non-TDMR technologies. The RWA 4000 series offer upto 8Gbit/sec maximum write data rate and 3.5 GHz analog bandwidth for all parametric measurements. Each RWA features a pattern generator with 1psec resolution of bit pre-compensation and supports PRML chip integration. Servo writing and processing is provided for Guzik Spinstand models. Select the pre-amplifier (UP14) as well as a variety of enhancements including programmable filters and PRML chip adapters.
