Model AD8-16 (alternate part number ADA-8) is an economical, multiplexed, eight-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (A/D) and Counter-Timer card for ISA-bus computers. It accepts up to eight differential or 16 single-ended analog inputs (jumper configured). AD8-16 requires a full-size expansion slot. All connections are made through a standard 50-pin connector. Base I/O address selection is via dip switch.Analog inputs are multiplexed, amplified, held by a sample and hold amplifier, and then digitized by an eight-bit A/D converter. Amplifier gain is selected by software and can differ from channel to channel.

Qualified 100m Subsea Ethernet jumpers designed for data transmission and real-time situational awareness and monitoring. This SparkFun Qwiic Digital Temperature Sensor Breakout provides a combination of high temperature accuracy with excellent low power consumption using the AS6212 digital temperature sensor from ams AG. The sensor measures temperature data up to ±0.2°C; accuracy over a wide range (-40°C; to +125°C;) and consumes an average of 6µA in normal operation (0.1µA in standby). The AS6212 communicates via I2C and has eight available I2C addresses selected by a pair of solder jumpers on the board. The breakout routes the I2C interface to a pair of Qwiic connectors to work with our plug-and-play Qwiic Ecosystem but also routes the bus and other pins to a standard 0.1"-spaced PTH header for users who prefer a soldered connection.

Load Cell Amplifier Signal Conditioner with DB9 Connectors

The LCA-9PC Module provides low-cost, dedicated signal conditioning for a single bridge type load cell or torque sensor. Model LCA-9PC comes with DB9 male and female connectors, which require soldering to user-furnished mating female or male wire connectors. On- board jumper selections include sensitivities from 0.5 mV/V to 10 mV/V, bandwidths from 100 Hz to 30 kHz, and amplified outputs of 0 to ±5V, 0 to ±10V, 0-16 mA, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. Zero and span adjustments are via precision 25-turn low-tempco metal film otentiometers.The units can be operated next to the sensor with 4-wire hookup or at distances up to 1 km (3300 feet) with 6-wire hookup. An onboard 87.325 kΩ resistor allows easy shunt calibration at the push of a button. Provision is also made for a user-furnished calibration resistor. Power requirements are 11.8 to 26V DC with load currents from 10 to 60 mA, the latter applying when the unit provides 10V DC excitation to a 350 ohm load cell and delivers a 20 mA analog output.

VME Analog Output Module

DP-VME-2115 is an industrial standard 24 channel D/A (Digital to Analog) board. It incorporates most of the features which are demanded in industrial applications. Each Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) is provided with a separate reference voltage selection either from internally generated reference or from the external input. This external input reference signal is passed into the protection circuits before it is fed to any active components. The input protection circuit is designed for ± 25Vp-p input ranges. The DAC output may be unipolar or bipolar and the output is jumper selectable, which is routed to the VME P2 connector, with short circuit protection of upto 30mA.
