The Model T360M CO2 analyzer measures Carbon Dioxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high-energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO2 filled chamber and a chamber with no CO2 present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 1.28 meters.The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. The specimen is placed in test chamber specimen which cannot be placed in high temperature chamber or low temperature chamber. High temperature chamber pre-heats the air and low temperature air chamber pre-cools the air. When doing the test of temperature changing from high to low, the low temperature chamber will blow the pre-cooled air to the test chamber. Then, the air in test chamber will reach your target temperature in several minutes (“recover time”). When doing the test of temperature changing from low to high, the high temperature chamber will blow the pre-heated air to the test chamber. Then the air in test chamber will reach your target temperature within the recover time.
