DC Blocks
Coaxial DC Blocks allow the transmission of RF signals while blocking DC signals, usually using a blocking capacitor. We feature SMA DC blocks, 2.92mm DC Blocks, 1.85mm DC Blocks, BNC DC Blocks, TNC DC Blocks, and Type N DC Blocks. DC blocks can block the inner conductor, outer conductor, or both; hence there are "inner" dc blocks, "outer" dc blocks, and "inner/outer" dc blocks. These Coaxial DC Blocks are frequently used in Satellite Systems where a control voltage is passed along with the RF signal, and the coaxial dc block protects equipment. The BNC DC block uses a precision bnc to get to 4ghz. The C0927 SMA DC Block uses dual parallel capacitors to achieve its broad bandwidth, its ideal for EO & NRZ systems.

Motor Termination Units
Since the rise time of IGBTs are in the range of a few tens of nanoseconds (between 50ns-200ns), even short cables between PWM motor drives and motors cause voltage doubling at the motor terminals due to Travelling Wave Phenomenon as in transmission lines. The insulation of motor windings are prone to failure due to high voltage spikes if necessary precautions are not sufficiently taken. RC Type Output Filter Modules reduce these high voltage spikes to protect motors by connecting to stator terminals.

By sensing the voltage present on the telephone line it detects and measures ringing, DTMF & pulse dialing, FSK (Bell 202 and V.23) signals, line polarity reversals, and open switching intervals (OSI). Working in conjunction with the TRsSim software on a PC, the AI-5120 becomes a valuable tool in analyzing and debugging Caller ID and SMS (Short Message Service) data transmission. Like an oscilloscope, it can capture and display waveforms showing various signals present on the telephone line.

Inductance: A contactless method of supplying power to (in this case) a strain gauge bridge. The signal is then transmitted back to the electronics. Transmission Line Probes
Transmission line probes are a special type of passive probe designed for use at very high frequencies. They replace the high impedance probe cable found in a traditional passive probe with a precision transmission line, with a characteristic impedance that matches the oscilloscope input (50 Ohm). This greatly reduces the input capacitance to a fraction of a picofarad, minimizing the loading of high frequency signals. A matching network at the tip increases the DC input resistance. While they have lower DC input resistance than a traditional passive probe (usually 500 Ohm) to 1kOhm), the input impedance of these probes remains nearly constant over their entire frequency range. A traditional /10 passive probe will have a 10 MOhm) input impedance at DC, however this impedance drops rapidly with frequency, passing below the input impedance of a transmission line probe at less than 100 MHz.
