The GO-8105M-5GE-UV is JAI’s highest resolution UV-sensitive area scan camera. The camera features a state-of-the-art Sony Pregius S sensor with backside illumination (BSI) technology, offering spectral sensitivity well into the UVC region. Quantum efficiency at 200 nm is above 25% and is between 40-50% for nearly all of the UVA and UVB range. A 5GBASE-T GigE Vision interface provides 8.1-megapixel monochrome images at up to 66 fps. Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.

EVT presents the EyeFI - the sensor for the inspection of filaments. The sensor contains two cameras with an Aptina sensor and S-Mount lenses. The cameras are perpendicular to each other. It is therefore possible to inspect two sides of the filament, which means that the EyeFI can detect if the filament is out-of-roundness. Additionally the errors and defects can be detected. For example the occurring flaws are point-shaped or partly flaked, or point-shaped and transverse, or also looking like a longitudial rib, or only spots in different shapes. The defects can be detected with the EyeFI sensor. The EyeFI contains board cameras with sensors from Aptina, the IoCap and an evaluation processor. The housing is about 14x10x4 cm in size. The IoCap is the image-capture-IO-board, which is designed and developped by EVT.

The PXIe-1487 combines the Maxim Integrated Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link™ (GMSL™) interface with the Xilinx FPGA for high-throughput vision and imaging applications. This module provides a high-speed digital interface for using and testing modern advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous drive (AD) camera sensors and electronic control units (ECUs). Additionally, the PXIe-1487 makes use of a combination of GMSL™ serializers and deserializers with a Xilinx FPGA to provide a high-throughput and customizable GMSL™ interface on PXI. The included FlexRIO driver, with LabVIEW FPGA examples, provides access and control for power-over-coax, I²C back-channel communication, and general-purpose input/output (GPIO) communication on the GMSL™ channels. The PXIe-1487 is ideal for applications such as in-vehicle data logging, lab-based playback, or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL). GMSL is a trademark of Maxim Integrated Products, Inc.
