Milwaukee's Laser Distance Meter is a heavy duty distance measuring tool for professional, commercial and industrial applications. The 2282-20 can easily measure distance up to 260' with 1/16" accuracy. The simple user interface makes Laser Distance Meter easy to use. Smart Horizontal Mode provides the most accurate measurements by factoring in the angle the unit is being held. The end bracket allows for accurate measuring from corners and edges. Easily add and subtract values and use seven different functions to calculate length, area, volume, indirect measurements, stake out, timer and Smart Horizontal equations. The 2281-20 includes meter case, two (2) AAA batteries, quick reference guide, CD manual and is covered by the Milwaukee 5-Year Warranty.

Highly accurate automatic measurement of glass thickness distributions. The glass thickness profiler GPM has the function to execute a fast and precise determination of the thickness profile of flat glass samples or another transparent material with a thickness range from 30µm to 700µm (option with sensor type 1) and width to 1200mm. The measuring point distance of the profile measurement can be varied over a micro-step-controlled positioning steering between 0.1mm and 1mm. The measured value accommodation for a scanning point takes place with the help of a special hardware module for image processing algorithms within 40 ms. The entire measuring time for a sample results thus as product from the sample width which has to be measured, the measuring point distance and the measuring time per measuring point.

The LIDAR-Lite v4 Qwiic from GARMIN is a high-performance, wireless optical distance measurement sensor that doesn't require any soldering to get started. This is the ideal solution for drone, robot, IoT, or unmanned vehicle operations when space is tight and power is limited. This sensor has up to a 10 meter range, 1cm resolution, and requires 85mA during data acquisition. The user can read and write to the LIDAR-Lite v4 using the I2C protocol; this is where the addition of the SparkFun Qwiic system really shines. The LIDAR sensor requires 5V to operate but runs on 3V3 logic. With a 5V boost circuit and an easy-to-use Qwiic connector you can power the sensor and get distance measurements over Qwiic all with a single piece of hardware.
