The Model 20 Galvanic DO Sensor utilizes proven galvanic sensing technology – without a question the most accurate and reliable DO sensing technology ever developed. The pure platinum cathode makes the sensor incapable of being poisoned by other gases often found in impure waters, such as hydrogen sulfide. This sensor utilizes the only DO sensing technology that is successful in continuous de-nitrification monitoring and control applications. It is also the only sensor design that can be used continuously in very violent pure liquid oxygen injection systems. Complete systems are supplied with over 5 years of sensor electrolyte and membranes.

The Signet 2552 Metal Magmeter features all-stainless steel construction. The PVDF nosepiece and FPM O-rings are the only other wetted materials. The 2552 installs quickly into standard ISO 7-R 1 or ISO 7-R 1 (1 in. to 1 in. NPT) pipe outlets, and is adjustable to fit pipes from DN50 to DN2550 (2 to 102 in.). Two sensor lengths allow maximum flexibility to accommodate a variety of hardware configurations, including ball valves for hot-tap installations.

Sensor for Filament Inspection

EVT presents the EyeFI - the sensor for the inspection of filaments. The sensor contains two cameras with an Aptina sensor and S-Mount lenses. The cameras are perpendicular to each other. It is therefore possible to inspect two sides of the filament, which means that the EyeFI can detect if the filament is out-of-roundness. Additionally the errors and defects can be detected. For example the occurring flaws are point-shaped or partly flaked, or point-shaped and transverse, or also looking like a longitudial rib, or only spots in different shapes. The defects can be detected with the EyeFI sensor. The EyeFI contains board cameras with sensors from Aptina, the IoCap and an evaluation processor. The housing is about 14x10x4 cm in size. The IoCap is the image-capture-IO-board, which is designed and developped by EVT.

Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems has launched this evaluation kit for its Grid-Eye infrared array sensor, which integrates a ”nanopower” Bluetooth Smart module and a microcontroller. The kit is intended for prototyping the Grid-EYE sensor which is a 64 pixel IR camera in a surface mount package measuring 11.6mm x 8mm x 4.3mm, which integrates the MEMS sensor, lens and I2C interface. The integrated Bluetooth module in the evaluation kit, the PAN1740, draws 4.9mA in transmit or receive operating modes, which means it can be powered by coin cell batteries. The IR sensor has 64 thermopile elements in an 8×8 grid format that detect absolute surface temperature without any contact.
