The Multigauge 5650 Surveyor Thickness Gauge is a simple, robust ultrasonic thickness gauge designed specifically for ship and small craft surveyors, but can also be used in applications where different measurement modes are required. The user has a choice of Multiple Echo, Echo to Echo or Single Echo to cover all requirements. The gauge can be used for metal, GRP or plastic measurement and it automatically switches modes and settings depending on the type of probe fitted. The easy to use keypad on the Surveyor Thickness Gauge allows operator interface whilst the bright LCD display can be used in all light conditions. All probes have Intelligent Probe Recognition (IPR), which automatically adjusts settings in the gauge at the same time as transmitting recognition data the result is a perfectly matched probe and gauge for enhanced performance. Magnetic level switches are used for the monitoring and control of liquid level in tanks. These level switches are specifically manufactured to customer specifications. The float switches are manufactured with a hermetically sealed contact which is located within the guide tube. The float sliding on the tube contains a ring magnet which activates the sealed contact in a non-contacting fashion. The sealed contacts are available as SPST (N/O or N/C) or SPDT (N/O + N/C). The float sliding up and down on the guide tube is the only moving part on the M-series magnetic float switches.

Designed primarily for testing products in plastics. Side access electrically probes outside panel connectors. The unit will also optically read LEDs and key segments off LCD displays. Solenoids will press buttons and servos will turn selector switches. DC motors are used to adjust multiple turn potentiometers. Microphone will detect audio output tones. Top and bottom of circuit boards can also be probed if removable access panels are available. This unit will also probe all 6 sides of a circuit board. This is typically utilized in applications where connector testing is required.
