The Modular Connectorized Distribution Unit (MCDU) is a modular family of factory-qualified subsea distribution units that provide oil-filled, pressure-balanced junctions for flexible underwater configurations.A new configuration has recently been introduced with a lighter, more cost-effective frame, highly visible ROV lifting handles, and wide openings to facilitate installation and removal of the housing. The compact frame design negates the need for lifting wires, making it easy for ROVs to install and retrieve the unit from the sea floor.

TESCO’s Service Ground Test Set has been designed to check the condition of the ground connection on a secondary service. If for any reason the ground connection has a resistance, this can be immediately detected by the Test Set. The Service Ground Test Set consists of a voltmeter which can be shunted by a resistance of 60 ohms. The voltmeter is of the suppressed zero type with a double range, from 65 to 130 or from 130 to 260, and can be used for checking service voltage independently of the ground test.

ICP-OES measures the light emitted at element-specific characteristic wavelengths from thermally excited analyte ions . This light emitted is separated and measured in a spectrometer, yielding an intensity measurement that can be converted to an elemental concentration by comparison with calibration standards. ICP-MS (ICP-Mass Spec) measures the masses of the element ions generated by the high temperature argon plasma.
